Old Skills records contain mistake counts, not how many times each key was attempted. They can suggest where to start, but cannot prove that a key has a higher error rate.

Are your mistakes decreasing?

Results below use only sessions on this Weak Key Practice page, so comparisons use actual character attempts.

How to improve a weak typing key

Choose a small focus

Practice three to five difficult characters at a time. Learn to hit each key accurately before increasing speed.

Mix isolated keys with real words

Single characters help with finger movement; words and sentences help transfer that skill to everyday typing.

Review your error rate

Compare several sessions rather than judging one attempt. At 98% accuracy, roughly two or fewer out of every hundred attempts are wrong.

Why are my recommended keys not always the slowest?

Older exercises stored the number of mistakes, not the number of attempts per key. Frequently used letters may have more mistakes simply because they appear more often. This page starts with their counts and measures rates in its own new sessions.

Can I practice Vietnamese or other languages?

Yes. Choose a supported word list. Composed Unicode characters are processed as grapheme clusters to support input method editors. The on-screen QWERTY map is only a visual aid for Latin keys.
