How to type F and J
Place your left index finger on F and your right index finger on J. Both keys feature a raised bump to locate them without looking down. Keep your hands relaxed, and use only your index fingers for these two keys.
Guided practice before speed
This lesson begins with an animated 2D hand demonstration. Practice highlighted keys slowly and repeat the short independent check. Wrong keys are explained and counted toward accuracy, but do not advance the target. To pass Basic Lesson 02, reach at least 95% accuracy—there is no WPM target.
