Posture & Home Row
Before you start typing, learn how to sit comfortably and find the eight home-row keys without looking down.

What will you learn?
Touch typing starts with a relaxed body and a consistent finger placement. Put your left fingers on A, S, D and F, and your right fingers on J, K, L and ;. Your index fingers find the small raised bumps on the F and J keys.
Good typing posture
Keep your shoulders relaxed, sit comfortably with your back supported and look at the screen. Keep wrists neutral rather than bending them sharply. The objective in Lesson 01 is to understand the home-row position, not to type or race a timer.
